I was cheep and decided not to pay the fee to get into the state park. Few know that you can access the falls via a trail on the other side of the river - just requires a little hiking. However, when we arrived at the falls - my daughter was feeling adventurous and wanted to hike up to the top. There was only one problem: we were on the other side of the river! Took a while but we eventually navigated a way through the rapids without dying. The hike up was steep but worth it!
